Don’t be blindsided by fraud
Double-check everything: Always scrutinise statements, emails, phone calls, or messages asking for sensitive information or urgent actions.
Don’t click on suspicious links: Be sceptical of unsolicited emails, especially those that ask for personal or financial information. Hover over links to verify their destination before clicking.
Use multi-factor authentication: Strengthen your accounts by using multi-factor authentication (MFA) whenever possible.
Be cautious with personal data: Keep sensitive information such as ID numbers, member numbers, bank details and passwords secure. Avoid sharing these details unless absolutely necessary.
