Congratulations to all the Ignite Awards winners, who have exemplified our culture and gone above and beyond for our company and our clients to make AfroCentric a winning team.
A highlight of the AfroCentric Group Leadership Conference 2025 was a gala dinner on the first evening during which the Ignite Employee Recognition Award winners were announced.
The Ignite Recognition Awards celebrate excellence, dedication and innovation, shining a spotlight on those who bring the extra spark and energy to our organisation. As our CEO, Gerald van Wyk, highlighted, these awards are a way of saying “Well done, keep it up and we value you” because it is through the passion and commitment of our people that we continue to grow, innovate and drive our Vision 2030 ambitions forward.
“What an honour and privilege to recognise and honour colleagues who go over and above the call of duty, who put in the extra hours and hard work, those who put up their hand and say to their clients and customers, ‘how can I make your day’?
“Congratulations to all the nominees and the winners. You are all trailblazers in your own right and may you continue to inspire the rest of us with your high work ethic and sense of purpose,” he said.
Gerald also gave a nod to the 5,000 employees who couldn’t be in the room, but as the engine of the business, contribute to its success.
