AfroCentric wins award for corporate reporting

AfroCentric received the Integrated Reporting Award in the Fledgling/AltX category at the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa’s Integrated Reporting Awards.

We’re so proud to announce this very special win. The IR Awards have been around since 1956, and are extremely well respected in the industry.

For AfroCentric, this award is a testament to our hard work, transparency and commitment to ensuring good corporate governance in our business dealings.

The IR Awards strive to improve standards of reporting – a critical element of good governance – by providing valuable feedback on integrated reports. They offer peer-on-peer comparison and a measure of good corporate governance and risk management practices. They also encourage accurate and transparent financial reporting and full disclosure of all relevant information to stakeholders.

The judges are all independent and once assessed, the winning entries are submitted to PwC for consideration. Well done to everyone who contributed to this success!
