Celebrating an amazing 30 years of service, Helga Noorodien is known for her deep company knowledge and her ability to deliver.
Helga, who is currently a Forensic Information Co-ordinator at Medscheme Forensics, started working at Medscheme on 17 April 1996 in Scheme Finance, where she predominantly reconciled member and service provider’s accounts, and assisted with in- and outbound calls in the Call Centre. Five years later she moved to Trust Accounts where she was a bookkeeper. She fulfilled the role for a period of five years until 2006 before transferring to Medshield Membership, where she worked as a Quality Controller for a further year before she moved to Fedhealth. In 2009, she found her calling and began working in the Special Investigations Department (SID), later known as Medscheme Forensics, as a Forensic Information Coordinator (current role).
Helga is well known throughout the Group and is deemed one of the AfroCentric stalwarts of knowledge, with a key ability to deliver.
“Your dedication, consistency, and commitment over the past 30 years is truly inspiring. Your contributions over the years to Medscheme in the various departments that you have worked in have made a lasting impact,” says colleague Mamello Maama, Forensic Administrator: Group Forensics.
“Your remarkable career reminds us all of an important life lesson: that consistency, integrity and commitment over time are what truly build a legacy. Success is not only about big moments, but about showing up, contributing and making a difference every single day – just as you have done.”
Her team says: “We salute and respect you for your massive ongoing contribution to the Group, Helga! We wish you all the best in your career and support your plan to retire nowhere else but with AfroCentric and your Forensic family.”
