Tell about his background.
He’s from Hazyview in Mpumalanga, and studied at the North-West University, focusing on BCom Economics and Risk Management.
What special achievements have he made at work?
He’s implemented the ERM framework, process and standards in the business, and promoted a risk management culture within the organisation by training staff in risk awareness, and training risk champions on how to manage risks in their business units. He facilitated the identification, quantification, risk assessments, risk review, management, and monitoring of business units’ risks across all risk classes. He has assisted the Afrocentric Health Group in planning and preparing for business functions resuming after a disaster has occurred.
How does he reach his goals?
His motto is: “If you are brave enough to dream it, you can have it, you just have to be passionate enough. It’s all in the mind and what you feed it.”
What does he do outside of work?
He is always working on self-growth, both physical and mental. He likes reading books, joining webinars, playing games and travelling.
