Quick thinking, determination, and the courage to scale mountains – of paperwork – saved the day for the Assessing Department at Medscheme in Windhoek, Namibia.
Despite papers piled high, deadlines looming and stress levels soaring, the team, led by Elsa Witbeen, refused to be defeated.
With a spark of genius, they devised a new streamlined process, working together with efficiency and determination. As the sun set on that chaotic day, the last report was submitted, the last spreadsheet finalised, and the Assessing Department emerged victorious.
Their resilience and teamwork were recognised by management, and they earned the respect and admiration of all their colleagues across the business.
But there’s a twist in the tale. It seems the sudden flood of paperwork was the result of some good-natured departmental rivalry – and the Assessing Team rose to the challenge!
Teamwork makes the dream work
“Encouraging teamwork and collaboration not only leads to better outcomes but also boosts morale and job satisfaction. One effective way to promote togetherness is by organising team-building activities that allow employees to connect on a personal level outside of work tasks,” he says.
