Sowing the seeds of love
AfroCentric Group Forensics did something quite different this year to commemorate Mandela Day (18 July), using the seed money they received for winning the Community Citizen Award at the AfroCentric Ignite Awards to do good.
With so many places and people in need, the team decided to celebrate the entire month by undertaking four initiatives, booking dates with four charities during the month and splitting into four teams to get the job done.
At Ennis Thabong Primary School they motivated students to choose a career they love, stay on the right path despite challenges, and always do their best.
Thulasizwe School for Autism received R10 000 towards school renovations and other needs.
Kids Haven in Benoni shared their wish list with us and we fulfilled that by providing items they needed.
Beanies for Beings, an NGO in Randburg, was gifted blankets, cereal and doughnuts.
