AfroCentric Wellness, as the proud service provider to the Sanlam Group, brought wellness to life like never before with nationwide Wellness Days that touched every corner of Sanlam, and ignited a renewed passion for health, community, and personal wellbeing.
Setting this year apart was a vibrant and fresh influence from the younger generation, particularly the Gen Z energy that infused each event to make it modern, relevant and deeply engaging – proving that wellness is not a one-size-fits-all concept, but an evolving experience that speaks to every age and stage of life.
At the heart of this year’s success were two remarkable women from AfroCentric Wellness: Tandokazi November: Wellness Account Manager, and Naledi Selematsela: Wellness Administrator.
“Their passion, meticulous planning and sheer determination were the driving forces behind these events. From concept to execution, they navigated countless moving parts, embraced new ideas and tackled challenges head-on. The result? A series of activations that didn’t just run smoothly – they inspired and connected thousands of Sanlam employees nationwide,” said Lesley-Anne Cagni, Acting Senior Manager: Clinical and Corporate Services.
Partnering for care
This year, we proudly partnered with DKMS, a global leader in the fight against blood-related illnesses. They elevated our Wellness Days at Sanlam to more than moments of self-care – they became opportunities to create awareness, educate, and potentially save lives. Employees learned about the importance of stem-cell donation and how each of us can make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancers and disorders.
Passion meets purpose
Together, AfroCentric Wellness and the Sanlam Group have shown that wellness is not just about physical health – it’s about community, compassion, and creating a lasting impact.
