Well done, Grads!

As the AfroCentric Bursary Programme enters its 10th year of meaningful impact in 2026, we proudly celebrate a defining milestone: the graduation of our bursary recipients who successfully completed their nursing studies.

Well done to the 2026 North-West University/Noordwes-Universiteit Potchefstroom graduates:

  • Atisang Mutsi
  • Mbali Makhubo
  • Mpho Moretsi
  • Tshegofatso Mokhaloane

Each graduation is more than an academic achievement. It is the culmination of resilience, discipline and opportunity, and a powerful reflection of what becomes possible when potential is intentionally supported. As newly qualified healthcare professionals, these graduates step into South Africa’s health system with purpose, compassion and the capacity to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Committed to success

Their success underscores a decade-long commitment by AfroCentric to education as a catalyst for empowerment and systemic change. Since its inception in 2016, the AfroCentric Bursary Programme has grown into a flagship pillar of the Group’s social impact strategy. Beyond funding, the programme provides holistic support, including mentorship, leadership engagement, coaching and wellness development, ensuring that students are equipped not only to graduate, but to thrive and lead with impact.

Our investment in education is a direct investment in South Africa’s future. Rooted in local communities and driven by a proudly African vision, this growth story continues to unlock inclusive opportunity, strengthen critical skills pipelines and contribute to sustainable national development.

We look forward with confidence to the impact they will have on communities and the future of our country.
