Time to celebrate!

The Benefit Review Department has started a birthday initiative this year – because they believe that every birthday is special and needs to be celebrated.

As a team that works remotely, BRT understands the importance of making time to celebrate the big days together and that coming into the office brings teams closer together.

On each team member’s birthday, BRT comes to the office for a special bring-and-share, where they get to eat, chat and celebrate the guest or guests of honour. The team members contribute an agreed amount of money to spoil the birthday celebrant with a special envelope – something to spend on whatever they choose on their special day.

The initiative is headed by BRT’s “Master of Food, Planning and Treasury”, Joyce Mbu-Ne-Letang, who organises all the finer details. The team has celebrated four birthdays so far and is looking forward to many more full tummies, team cheer and birthday spoils. BRT would love to share their ideas, team spirit and positive team initiatives with others in the Group.
