Have you completed the Employee Travel Survey?

The travel survey is essential for us to keep track of our annual carbon footprint, enabling us to implement low-carbon growth strategies at AfroCentric. You have until 30 June 2023 to complete it.

The AfroCentric Group is committed to creating an environment that promotes sustainability through environmental and conservation awareness. The Greenhouse Gas Inventory (carbon footprint) reports are a key part of this because they inform our business decisions and measure their impact on climate change.

By completing the Employee Travel Survey, you’re letting us know how you travel to and from work. This includes the mode of transport used, distance travelled one way and the frequency of travel.

Because employee commuting is one of the report’s largest components, the emission calculations will only be accurate if every employee participates. Without your completed survey, our carbon emission data in the current carbon footprint report, for July 2022 to June 2023, will not be a true reflection of our organisation’s emissions.

All employees must complete the survey to help make a difference in our environment, whether you work from home, in the office, or both as a hybrid worker. Click here to access the survey.
