Plan for your future

We hosted a retirement workshop session for members who are 50 years and older in November. The Graviton advisor team touched on important financial aspects employees need to think about regarding retirement. (Graviton is a part of Sanlam, who, in a financial advisory capacity are here at AfroCentric to assist with the retirement programme.)

The seminar was aimed at making employees aware of the steps they need to take to ensure they can enjoy a comfortable retirement.

It focused on the following topics:

• The emotional stages of retirement;
• Budgeting, tax matters and estate planning in simple terms, including the Two-Pot System;
• Insights on the annuity and preservation options; and
• An overview of Graviton’s approach when assessing your personal, holistic financial position.
