Taking charge of the future
In April, our Human Capital Rewards and Benefits Management team hosted our monthly pre-retirement webinar, themed “Taking Charge of the Future!”.
Executive sponsor, Elnarie Hendricks, Interim Chief Executive Officer: ADS, and a panel of experts addressed topics such as adequate retirement savings, healthcare costs in retirement, emotional wellbeing when transitioning into retirement, and supplementing insufficient retirement income.
We were joined by Cathy Jansen, who retired from AfroCentric in 2019. She spoke about how she transitioned into a comfortable retirement with the support of our stakeholders, as well as about the opportunities retirement has presented her with.
The session was attended by 622 of our pre-retirees across the group.
