However, Walvis Bay and the Penguin Islands remained under South African control until 1994.<\/p><p>In celebration of Independence Day, we asked a few of our Namibian colleagues what they love most I\u2019ve travelled a few times outside the country, I\u2019ve always found myself longing to return. There\u2019s something truly special about this place.<\/p><p>Namibia is the land of space, respect, joy, and energy. Its vast, open landscapes and breathtaking beauty are unmatched, offering so much to explore and appreciate.
