Imagine a workplace where every voice is heard, every story matters, and silence no longer protects violence. Every day, 115 women are raped in South Africa, and three women are killed by intimate partners. These are not just statistics \u2013 they are stories of pain, silence and survival. GBV affects individuals, families, communities, and workplaces. It is a human rights violation and a public health crisis, deeply rooted in historical, cultural and systemic inequalities.<\/p>

South Africa is in the grip of a crisis. President Cyril Ramaphosa has called GBV the country\u2019s\u202f\u201csecond pandemic\u201d. It doesn\u2019t just harm adults, it devastates children,\u202fwith over 24 000 sexually assaulted\u202fin one year alone. Children who witness or experience GBV often suffer from\u202fanxiety, depression, aggression and suicidal thoughts. Many grow up believing violence is normal, and end up perpetuating the cycle of abuse and trauma.<\/p>

We are <\/span>witnessing<\/span> a current <\/span>scourge of filicide <\/span>(parents killing their own child) <\/span>and child murders in this country<\/span>. It <\/span>feels <\/span>as if,<\/span> as a society<\/span>,<\/span> we have lost our moral radar, where the most vulnerable are not <\/span>being protected<\/span> but <\/span>are placed<\/span> at risk every day<\/span>, the Wellness Team said.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
