The event also featured interactive educational quizzes, entertainment, and a medal ceremony for all finishers.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"none\">A highlight of the day was the presence of\u00a0AfroCentric\u00a0Group CEO Gerald\u00a0Van Wyk and Chief People &amp; Marketing Officer Lindiwe\u00a0Miyambu, underscoring the Group\u2019s deep commitment to community wellness.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The event was further elevated by\u00a0Goitsemang\u00a0Lekgetho, a medical student and award-winning content creator, who served as MC. Breast cancer checks were the highest at 193 screenings, followed by blood pressure (347) and pap smears (217),\u00a0indicating\u00a0a\u00a0strong uptake of preventive services. HIV testing reached 273 individuals, with one positive case\u00a0identified\u00a0for follow-up care. Prostate cancer screenings totalled 42, resulting in one referral, while breast cancer screenings led to three referrals, highlighting the importance of early detection.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"none\">These figures\u00a0demonstrate\u00a0that the event not only raised awareness but also provided actionable health interventions, reinforcing its role in improving community health outcomes.<\/span><span
