The BHF enables industry discussion on emerging issues and inspires innovation as well as honest conversation about what\u2019s next.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This conference is one of the largest healthcare conventions on the continent, attended by a wide demographic of delegates representing hundreds of organisations from various countries. We connected with many different speakers from around the world and spent four days engaging on crucial challenges facing the healthcare system. This provided a special opportunity to refocus healthcare on the patient, which is its heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s conference theme, \u201cConvergence to a person-centric health ecosystem \u2013 leaving no health citizen behind\u201d, emphasised the importance of collective efforts and shared values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of our leaders went the extra mile and contributed immensely to the agenda by facilitating sessions and presenting case studies. Dr Hleli Nhlapo of DENIS, Fezeka Nompumza, Dr Wayne Riback and Dr Ayanda from Medscheme played an active role at the conference and kept our flag flying high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Group received a request for articles from the BHF, and three articles were provided that featured in the BHF360\u00b0 magazine:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr Nkateko Msimeki \u2013 Digital health: \u201cScreening trends\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr Abongile Qamata \u2013 Seeing patients differently: \u201cDelivering a patient-centred healthcare model\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vukosi Sambo &amp; Andrew Wright \u2013 Educating members: \u201cDo we have their attention?\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A high five to all colleagues!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In true BHF tradition, industry changemakers were honoured at the prestigious Titanium Awards, which are part of the four-day conference activities. Medscheme came out tops \u2013 again \u2013 for the Best Integrated Report. This annual event afforded us the opportunity to again network, mingle and entertain our clients and important stakeholders.
