Coming together in care
On International Nurses Day, 12 May, the level 2 ADRM care managers came together in the spirit of gratitude, unity and celebration to honour the heart of our healthcare system: our nurses.
Nurses Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it’s a reminder of the compassion, resilience, and commitment these professionals bring to their work every single day. As level 2 care managers, the team said it was privileged to witness this dedication up close, and wanted to show their appreciation in a meaningful way.
“So, we did what we do best – we collaborated. Each of us brought something to the table, literally and figuratively, to create a shared moment of joy for our nursing colleagues,” the team said in a statement. “From personalised thank-you notes and handmade treats to thoughtful gifts and a shared space filled with laughter and appreciation, every contribution reflected our collective respect and admiration for the nursing teams.
“It was a powerful reminder that care doesn’t stop with our patients but extends to each other. Celebrating International Nurses Day together allowed us to express not just our gratitude, but our unity as a team.”
