30 years of loyalty and dedication
It is seldom that an employee works for one employer for 30 years – but that is exactly the steadfast loyalty that has made Anita Potgieter, Manager at Medscheme’s Forensics team, a stalwart of knowledge at AfroCentric.
Anita started working at Medscheme on 28 March 1994 in Pre-Assessing, where she predominantly vetted medical accounts. A year later, she moved to Assessing, where she captured accounts for payment, and then in 2001 she transferred to the Call Centre.
In 2003 Anita found her calling and started working in the Special Investigations Department (SID), where she captured medicine invoices before joining a team dealing with the reversal of duplicate claims.
After being a Forensic Analyst for a number of years, Anita’s persistence and loyalty paid off when she became a Forensic Team Leader in 2012, and then Manager in 2017.
