Gofaone Khoza
Cashbook Clerk, Medscheme
Nominated by William Kota
Gofaone has an amazing energy towards life and everything around her and also towards us. She brings positivity to situations in the office and she has the great ideas of a young person.
How does she inspire her colleagues?
She is an inspiration to all of us. She knows how to speak to managers in a polite way even when we are still thinking of how to handle situations. Her youthful advice is tremendous. She’s made me realise how the youth think differently from us elders and that’s an inspiration to get more ideas from them.
What are some of her special achievements that are worth celebrating?
Gofaone multi-tasks in a way that amazes use. Sometimes we wonder how she handled that packaged work all by herself. She follows and knows the set rules of work and follows them perfectly. Ideally, she can take the bull by the horns – she’s an “Imbokoto of Finance” and everywhere else too!
She deserves to be celebrated as an extraordinary youth.
“She’s made me realise how youth think differently from us elders and that’s an inspiration to get more ideas from them.”
What does she do outside of work?
She is a young mother and student outside of work. She’s always looking for ways to improve the quality of her life and finances for herself, family and the ones around her. Gofaone finds strength in her faith in God.
Comment from Gofaone
I am humbled to have been nominated for the Trailblazer project. Since joining Medscheme in 2016, I have learned a lot about myself, people and the business. Every day we learn something new hence it is important to also teach others. We need to always humble ourselves, acknowledge that we all are different, respect one another and always act with integrity and transparency in our personal and corporate life.
